I've painted it. i put some padding on the inside as well. before it was just resting on my nose and by the hooks over the ears. there is a thin black mesh over the mouth that i will put over the eyes as well, because the whole being able to see the eyes thing goign on here really bugs me. i might use the same material to add an inner hood to the mask so you don't see my neck/ears/hair/etc. i might even return to the paint job because i'm just not sure about it yet. yeah, it has some flaws, but for both my first time ever brazing a wire frame and my first time using paper mache, i dig the results. enjoy. oh and it was originally going to be rahgot, but for some reason i painted it to look more like vokun or morokei right now. i'm actually thinking about making it darker like the shade of hevnoraak or he other darker one. i don't think i'm gonna paint on the glow at all though. maybe if i can get some glow in the dark paint or something, but otherwise i don't really care for it.
yeah normally you can't see the eyes, but for this picture, the flash on my camera was on. I was going to put the same black mesh thats over the mouth over the eyes also, but my vision is already restricted enough by how small the slits are that I decided I'd rather be able to see at all than have some people maybe see my eyes but probably not.
haha, Thanks! i've repainted it since this pic, but it's still pretty fun. can't wear it most places people get scared if they don't know what it is lol
